Industrial indexes of quenching casting

Castings are workpieces made by a special processing technology. Quenching is an important process of steel processing. So, What are the technological index of the quenching steel casting?

First, Quenching medium. The main purpose of steel quenching is to get fully martensite structure. During quenching steel castings, castings cooling rate should be higher than its critical cooling rate. Otherwise we can not get martensite and their corresponding properties.

Second, Quenching temperature. Quenching temperature is mainly determined by the chemical composition of steel and the corresponding critical temperature point.
